AFP-FL Activists to Rally at the Capitol
Show Citizen Support for Rejection of Medicaid Expansion and Pension Reform
Tallahassee, Florida—Americans for Prosperity, the nations premier grassroots organization, is hosting a rally on the front steps of the Florida Capitol tomorrow at 1:30 pm. The rally marks the arrival of AFP-FL activists to Tallahassee for two days of lobbying their elected officials about limited government and economic freedom.
The rally will focus on the rejection of Medicaid expansion, the need for pension reform, and ending corporate welfare, as well as AFP-FL’s Five for Florida plan. House Speaker Will Weatherford, Majority Leader Steve Precourt and Chairman Matt Hudson will all be speaking in addition to AFP’s President Tim Phillips and Florida State Director Slade O’Brien.
