Friedman Legacy for Freedom Day Event

July 18, 2011

July 31st would have been the 99th birthday of Dr. Milton Friedman – an economist and proponent of school choice policies since the 1950’s. To celebrate, AFP-Florida is hosting a Friedman Legacy for Freedom Day event in Orlando, FL on July 29th. We will have a showing of “The Cartel”, a documentary showing the need for real education reform, with an introduction speech by Congressman Daniel Webster.

Popcorn, pizza, soda and birthday cupcakes will be provided during the showing. After the movie, we will have a panel discussion about school choice with community leaders on the issue. Attire is casual.

Join us from 5:30PM-8:00PM in the Oak Room at the Marks Street Senior Recreation Complex, 99 East Marks Street, Orlando, FL 32803.
