March 27, 2013

HARTFORD – Americans for Prosperity CT State Director, JR Romano, will address the Conservative Women’s Forum on Thursday, March 28. The meeting will take place at Flanders Fish Market Restaurant from 11:45AM to 2PM

“I look forward to engaging and interacting with this great group of activists to discuss ways we can give the silent majority a voice through online tools and social media,” said JR Romano, AFP-CT State Director.

AFP-CT is currently engaged in an online petition drive titled, “I’m a Resident, Not a Revenue Source.”

The petition can be found at residentnotrevenue.com. The organization also has a feature on their website enabling taxpayers to send e-cards to their elected officials asking them to stop overspending. The e-cards can be found HERE. Both will be available through April 15.

“The people of Connecticut are tired of carrying the enormous tax burden the state has placed upon them,” added Romano. “I am excited to share our efforts with the Conservative Women’s Forum and hear their ideas on how we can stop overspending and put our state back on the path to prosperity
