A fiscal joke.

April 01, 2013

As you know, the failed policies of the Governor and the legislature have landed CT at the bottom of almost every ‘best of’ list comparing the states on matters of fiscal policy and priorities. From a Credit Quality Ranking of 50th to being the Worst State to Retire In to having the latest Tax Freedom Day in the country, our state has become a fiscal joke. I am sure you agree that even today, April Fool’s Day, these statistics are no laughing matter. They are a testament to what has gone wrong.

If you are fed up with the state’s fiscal condition I hope you will sign and disseminate the “I’m a Resident, Not a Revenue Source” petition or send your elected officials an e-card telling them to stop overspending. Both will be available online through April 15th.

We know what works and what needs to be done. Families and businesses in this state are working to cut back and live within their means while the state government keeps growing and along with it the tax burden placed on CT residents and businesses.

The time to stop overspending is NOW. Let your elected officials know today by signing our petition or sending an e-card today.

Thanks for all your efforts!
