Unleash the Watchdog Within At Sept. 8 Grand Junction Event
Do you trust the local or national media to always keep a watchful eye on politicians and government? I know that I don’t. But we’re living in a different era now, in which open records laws and “new media” tools available to nearly every citizen grant each of us the power to perform a watch-dogging role that the “old media” doesn’t always have the time or inclination to perform. The old media monopoly on news and information no longer exists. Citizens just like you now have the power – and the obligation, as awake and aware activists? — to do-it-yourselves.
Colorado and our nation are in a fiscal crisis. You’ve heard the egregious examples of waste, fraud, and abuse on a daily basis. We can no longer afford to sit by and wait for the government or the establishment media to fully inform the public about what’s going on behind closed doors.
It’s time to take action!
That’s why Americans for Prosperity Colorado is teaming up with the Franklin Center and Revealing Politics for a critical event in Grand Junction.
