EPA to Get Earful at Denver “Listening” Stop
“Enough Already!” Rally to Highlight Regulatory Casualties in Rural West
Parker, Colorado – Americans for Prosperity-Colorado, the state’s largest grassroots free market group, is proud to participate in next Wednesday’s “Enough Already” Rally for Affordable Energy and Rural Communities at the State Capitol Building in Denver. The October 30 event is timed to coincide with an Environmental Protection Agency “listening tour” stop in Denver, where public comment on the agency’s latest round of regulatory excesses will be taken.
The rally, which begins on the West Steps of the Capital at 1:30 p.m. is meant to highlight the impacts these new regulations will have on Western workers, communities and energy producers. Participants include: The Independence Institute, Colorado Mining Association, Arch Coal, Cloud Peak Energy, Utah Mining Association, Wyoming Rural Electric Cooperatives, Peabody Energy, Wyoming Policy Institute and Wyoming Mining Association

- Why: Because excessive regulation is killing Western Communities and Jobs
We expect attendees from across the state, and even from out of state, since this is the only such event the EPA scheduled in this region. Attending media will have an opportunity to meet and interview real people, with compelling stories, from impacted communities in the region.
