The Health Care Fight is On!
To say I’m disappointed by the Supreme Court’s misguided support for Barack Obama’s government health care takeover is an understatement. But I guess that’s what happens when you leave your fate to Washington lawyers and politicos. This leaves only one path left if Americans are going to reassert citizen supremacy and curb unchecked government intrusion into our personal health care decisions – and that’s by rallying pro-freedom forces to fight for the law’s complete repeal by Congress.
AFP is launching that effort with a huge advertising campaign that will hit the airwaves soon, along with our Hands Off Our Health Care Rally at noon tomorrow at the Colorado State Capitol building in Denver. Now isn’t the time to lie down and lick our wounds. Now is the time to rise up and go on the offensive. We ask that you help lend that effort momentum by joining us in Denver tomorrow.
What: Hands Off Our Health Care Rally
When: 12:00 Noon Friday
Where: West Steps of State Capitol Building, Denver
Why: Because this will not stand
Click this link now to RSVP for the free rally. We’ll be arranging bus transport for a limited number of people from Colorado Springs and Loveland. Please check the appropriate box on the linked registration page, where you’ll find three options. One option simply allows you to register for the rally, so we have an accurate head count for food. That’s for those who will be getting to the rally on their own. Two other options exist for those who want to ride the bus from Colorado Springs or Loveland.
- The Colorado Springs bus will depart from the west side of Chapel Hills Mall parking lot by Sears at 10:30 a.m. and return by 2:30 p.m.
- The Loveland bus will depart from the Best Western parking lot at Highway 34 and I-25 at 10:30 a.m. and return by 2:30 p.m.
The Court got it wrong and now it is up to us to settle this dispute through the democratic tools at our disposal. And that battle begins tomorrow, Friday June 29, at high noon on the west steps of the Colorado State Capitol building.
