Americans for Prosperity to Rep. Polis: All Americans Deserve Obamacare Exemptions, Not Just Ski Town Constituents
Parker – In response to news that Representative Jared Polis is asking for a special exemption from the Obamacare law for his ski town constituents, Americans for Prosperity – Colorado state director Dustin Zvonek released the following statement:
“We are glad to see that Representative Polis is now recognizing the huge financial burden of complying with the new healthcare law. However, it’s not just Polis’s constituents who face higher premiums. Across the country, families are facing soaring premiums, not to mention reduced options to pick their personal doctor.”
“The fair way to handle the Obamacare disaster is to give everyone an exemption. We encourage Representative Polis and his constituents to visit JustExempt.me, where they can sign a petition asking President Obama to offer them an exemption from the disastrous ObamaCare law.”
Americans for Prosperity launched the JustExempt.Me website to ask President Obama to give all Americans an exemption from the new health care law. The site highlights how exemptions have been given to the restaurant owners in San Francisco and the State of Massachusetts and special treatment has been given to Members of Congress.
