AFP California Congratulates The Riverside County Board of Supervisors For Taking the Steps Necessary To Close their Budget By Imposing Pension Reform on Unionized County Workers

Grassroots taxpayer advocacy organization, Americans for Prosperity California, congratulates the Riverside County Board of Supervisors for passing a plan to end out of control pension costs for their county. On Tuesday, the Board of Supervisors imposed pay and benefit changes on 5,800 employees after negotiations with unions failed.

“Riverside County is an example of what more counties in this State need to be doing,” explained AFP State Director David Spady. “It is time we took back our state from the unions and the outrageous contracts they have imposed on us.”
