AFP Launches New Video: Pelosi’s Broken Promise

December 04, 2013

Today Americans for Prosperity, the nation’s largest advocate for health care freedom, continued its aggressive campaign to hold politicians accountable for their support of ObamaCare with a new online video featuring Nancy Pelosi’s recent interview on Meet the Press. In the video, Pelosi refuses to be held accountable or take responsibility for the infamous promise that, “If you like your health care plan, you can keep it.”

AFP Director of Public Affairs Levi Russell said, “The path to ObamaCare is littered with broken promises made to the American people. Its legacy is fast becoming one of cancelled plans, higher insurance premiums, less choice, and more bureaucracy.

“As the White House prepares to roll out a snazzy new sales pitch, it’s important to remember how many promises have already been broken.”

This video is the latest in a series of ads that have been airing since the summer. AFP has carried out a multi-million dollar effort that highlights the negative impact of ObamaCare on individuals, and holds politicians accountable for supporting the law despite the negative impact.
