Thanks Senator Boozman

December 19, 2013

As we are all either trying to wind our way down to the new year or get those last couple of presents squared away, Washington, DC was at it again trying to spend away the future. The good news is that Senator Boozman kept his promise to preserve spending limits. We hope that you take a moment to let him knowthat you appreciate him not falling in with the “in crowd” and doing what was right.

We have argued extensively against the so-called “Ryan-Murray budget deal.” The biggest problem was that it wasn’t a deal at all. In fact, it’s pretty horrific that our Veterans are suffering from this “deal.”

Yes, you read that right. The men and women of our armed forces that sacrificed so much are having their pensions cut in this budget deal. Why would anyone vote for something that would impact our Veterans like that? We did see Senator Mark Pryor vote for it for it, but at the end of the day his reasoning for voting for it just doesn’t hold water. On the other hand, the reasons for voting against it – like Senator John Boozman did – do.

Please check out this form and send Senator Boozman a quick email to encourage him and say thank you.
