AFP TV Ad Holds Barber Accountable on ObamaCare

TUCSON — Today the Arizona chapter of Americans for Prosperity, the nation’s largest advocate for health care freedom, continued efforts to hold politicians accountable for their support of ObamaCare with a new TV ad. The latest wave of ads focuses on Rep. Ron Barber’s support of the law and will run for three weeks at a cost of $200,000.

“Congressman Barber is scrambling to distance himself from ObamaCare,” said AFP-Arizona Director Tom Jenney. “But trying to delay some of the legislation’s effects for political reasons won’t do anything to shield Arizonans from the pain inflicted by ObamaCare. These ‘fixes’ are no such thing.

“The facts are in on ObamaCare: it means fewer doctors, higher costs and millions of cancelled plans. Those aren’t what supporters promised.”

Over the summer, AFP carried out a multi-million dollar effort with a series of four TV ads that highlighted the negative impact of Obamacare on individuals. Earlier in November, AFP ran an ad holding Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (AZ-01) accountable for her support of the law.
