AFP-Arizona op-ed against the ObamaCare Medicaid expansion

Thanks to the Arizona Republic for printing AFP-Arizona director Tom Jenney’s op-ed on January 27 against the proposed Medicaid expansion under ObamaCare.

Correction & Apology from Tom Jenney, posted 2 Feb 2013:  At this point, I believe that Rep. Heather Carter had (and has) no intention to use HB 2045 as the vehicle for the Medicaid expansion.  I went off half-cocked in my Republic op-ed and my January 26 flyer.  I attacked the wrong bill.  I also believe that Rep. Carter’s intention was (and is) for HB 2045 to control costs in AHCCCS — a laudable goal when dealing with our state government’s largest program.
