We just wrapped up our November Speaks Rally at the Capitol to demand Congress does not pass any spending bill or raise taxes on any American during the lame duck session. Senator Jim DeMint joined us to speak about his proposal to ban earmarks in The Republican Conference. AFP activists enthusiastically cheered Senator DeMint's proposal and are demanding Republicans approve his measure.

We were also joined by other great free market champions in Congress such as Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, Congressman Mike Pence, Congressman Louie Gohmert, and Congressmen-elect Morgan Griffith, Frank Guinta, Bob Gibbs, and Jeff Denham. The four Congressmen-elected vowed to do what the people sent them to Washington to do: cut spending, lower taxes, and limit government.
