Help fellow Americans “Defend the Dream”

(A project of Americans for Prosperity Foundation)

Defending the American Dream Summit is coming up soon – time to get those flights booked if you haven’t already! We have a great group going from Georgia, but there’s still time for you to register. Do it now! We’ll be gathering on Capitol Hill, hearing from the brightest and best conservative speakers, and learning how to lead the movement into the future. Questions – call 770-265-2242 or email.

Our next Next Step training will be in St Mary’s, GA in late October.

A Note from Joel Foster, AFPGA Grassroots Coordinator

Dear AFP Member -

Are you tired of out-of-control government tax and spend policies? Are you marching in the streets at tea parties, and raising your voices at town halls? Are you ready to get involved for real change to limit the federal government, promote personal responsibility and  return to our Constitutional roots? If that’s you, we need your help!

My name is Joel Aaron Foster. As the new Georgia Grassroots Coordinator for AFPGA, I’d like to introduce myself as your partner and resource in the cause of defending liberty in our local cities, counties and at the state and federal levels. If you live in Atlanta, you may have heard me on talk radio over the past few years or as a speaker and emcee at tea parties over the past few months alongside many friends from several organizations who are standing strong for the cause of freedom.

Joel Foster, AFP-Georgia

Like you, I’m very concerned about the direction our nation is headed. I am also optimistic that America’s best days are ahead as we take back our rights and obligations as American citizens.

In the next few months, AFPGA will be working to resource existing county chapters all over Georgia and establish new groups. We will continue our state-wide Next Step Training series to inspire, empower and commission new citizen advocates for entrepreneurship and fiscal and regulatory restraint. We will work to establish, support and further a collaborative relationship with other coalition groups around Georgia who champion these same goals. We will be in the local community to help organize events and support you in your efforts.

If you are interested in learning more about organizing an AFP chapter, Next Step Training, rally or other function in your area, please do not hesitate to call me at 678-910-3101 or email joel.foster@afphq.org. I am honored to be working alongside you, and I look forward to meeting many of you at trainings, rallies and other events in the month’s ahead. As always, stay focused!

Yours in Liberty,

Joel Aaron Foster

GA Labor Day & 9-12 Events

AFPGA was well represented by a cadre of volunteers at six GA events over the last couple of weeks. Special thanks to all the groups who invited AFPGA to be part of your events, but super special thanks to those volunteers who made it possible: Caron Wright, Paulette Rakestraw, Sherri Reece (& youngsters), Lyndon Smith, Wade Meldrum, Darrell Galloway, Sheila Auffrey, Terri Green, all the N. Fulton & Friends, LaGrange Patriots, Columbus Patriots, Forsyth AFP chapter and anyone else I may have overlooked!

We love to come and to help with your events. Photos of my favorite poster and the Roswell Tea Party below.
