Nevada State Director Adam Stryker
Adam Stryker is the new State Director of the Nevada Chapter of Americans for Prosperity, and an experienced veteran in government and private sector affairs.
Prior to joining AFP, Adam worked for the Las Vegas Sands Corporation where he was Coordinator of Government Affairs and Community Relations until 2009. He oversaw the Sands Kansas Casino proposal, managing grassroots and public official communication strategies and overall strategy development. As part of this measure, Adam managed a petition drive that gathered over 5,000 signatures of support for the project. He implemented a direct mail campaign to educate the community about the initiative, and oversaw focus groups, media relations, and event coordination for local residents and public officials.
After gaining government relations experience in the private sector, Adam went on to serve as a Legislative Aide to the Senate Assistant Minority Leader in the Nevada legislature. He assisted in crafting legislation and managed messaging for testimonies and speeches.
Most recently, Adam worked for j3 Strategies as a campaign management consultant on campaigns for U.S. Senate, Nevada State Senate, and a variety of other local races. As a Coalitions Director, he organized over 1,000 individuals from every walk of life into a mobilized grassroots force, and managed government affairs clients ranging from large gaming corporations to arena and commercial development programs.
Adam attended Creighton University, earning a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Policy in 2003, studying abroad at the Instituta Di Venezia during his time as an undergraduate.
He currently resides in the Southwest Las Vegas Valley with his wife, Brittany.
