RightOnLine gathers in Vegas to take back America

Judge Andrew Napolitano addressed a packed house in the largest hotel in the world – the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. The crowd consisted of attendees of the third RightOnLine group of conservative internet activists and patriotic citizens who came from 34 states.

As the Right met in Vegas at the Venetian, the liberal group NetRootsNation was meeting in sin city.

The Right met at a nonunion hotel where the accommodations were fabulous, our rate was reasonable and the staff was fabulous. And that fact did not go unappreciated.

Napolitano law of the land highlights:

Affirmed our right to protect ourselves even from gov’t which has been taken over by tyrants – and the right to be left alone -- guaranteed to us in the Constitution

If any candidate tries to tell you how to live your life, vote them out of office (said to wild cheering from the crowd).

The government is so out of control, they do not recognize the constitution. Ronald Reagan reminded the country that the states created the federal government and not the other way around. (And the power that the states gave to the federal government, they can take back form the federal government – added by the Judge).

If someone knocks on your door and demands money saying they would give it away to someone else. It is the federal government.

Taxation is theft. It presumes that the govt has a higher right to your property than you do. If you own what you create with your own hands, it is yours, not the government’s.

Much of what is done in Washington dc is not authorized by the constitution.

When the Mustang Ranch was delinquent in taxes, the federal government took it over.
So the government can’t provide hookers and booze to the truckers in the desert and they want to run health care!

Will there be anything left to celebrate in the long history of the world, and our responsibility to defend freedom.

President of Americans for Prosperity – Tim Phillips:

We fought to stop the Reid-Pelosi-Obama health care take over. It was a tough, bitter defeat. But the fight is not over on health care. BTW – did you see where biden called her the “Mother of HealthCare”. Now Uncle Joe has said some crazy things…now, this is a comforting thought to all of us. Pelosi and her band of bureaucrats will be there to help you.

We did lose our first round in Congress, but we won decisively wit the American people and we saw what grassroots politics does.

Much is at stake. The HC bill will add over 100 new federal agencies and departments, not including the existing bureaucracies that currently exists.

Obama’s pick to run Medicare and Medicaid said: “The decision is not whether or not we will ration Medicare and Medicaid, but whether we will do so with our eyes open.”… “I am romantic about” the government bureaucracy which forces tens of thousands of people to wait in line for health care and thousands die waiting in line. (Where is Bill Clinton when we need romance in DC? )

We need to hold Congress who voted for this health care bill accountable…will you help us do that? (Wild applause)

No matter which party runs the House and Senate, we will demand a repeal and replace vote and defunding this bill. They have piled up debt, spending, red tape…this November, we have our say.

They ignore you, the ridicule you, they attack you, then you win.

The left has tried to ignore you – they called you names, the movement kept growing and then the attacks began, using racial attacks, hate-filled language. We kept building. We will win for our values and our freedom. We won’t win for any party but for our values and principles of economic freedom. We want to give the same opportunities to our children and grandchildren. We are exceptional and we can’t lose that.

I ask people one question – what do you want from government? We don’t want anything – just to be left alone to enjoy the freedoms given to use by our creator and our Constitution.

Here is the irony: if we want to be left alone to enjoy those freedoms, we need to fight for them every day.
