AFP-VA is gearing up for the legislative session, that starts on Wednesday, by hosting town halls this weekend! We will be in Roanoke on Friday, January 16th, and in Lynchburg on Saturday, January 17th.
We hope you'll be able to join us and get excited about the upcoming legislative session.
In addition to being able to discuss pertinent issues, this town hall will be an opportunity for citizens to learn how they can easily make their voices heard in the upcoming General Assembly session in Richmond.
The events are free and open to the public, and meals will be provided for attendees.
Roanoke:

• Local citizens interested in the legislative process
What: Citizen town hall meeting to discuss AFP-VA’s 2009 legislative agenda, and educate citizens on how to be involved in the legislative process.
When: Friday, January 16, 2009, 11:45 a.m.
Where: The Plantation at Sunnybrook, 7342 Plantation Road, Roanoke, VA
Lynchburg:
Who: • Delegate Kathy Byron (R-Campbell County)
